We know many retouchers are always looking for the same thing… high quality Medium Format images to practice their skills with, and we at PictureWax wanted to do our part to provide the community with exactly that. Below are packages of images shot by professional photographers available for retouchers to purchase, download and use to hone their skills as the creative artists they are.

- Medium Format: Our image packs range from 36MP up to 80MP (mostly 56MP), providing incredible detail.

Q: Can I use these images in my portfolio?
A: Yes. After editing the images in your pack, you can use the final product in your portfolio. However, you cannot sell or license usage rights to anyone else.

Q: How do I download images packs I purchased?
A: Once you have selected and paid for your image pack, you will receive an email with a direct download link. We host all of our image packs on DropBox and that’s where you’ll download the image packs from.

Q: How do I purchase image packs?
A: Once you select an image pack you would like to purchase, simply click the “Buy Pack” button below the image pack description to be redirected to PayPal to complete your purchase. If you do not have a PayPal account, no need to worry. You will be provided an option to use a credit card or to create a PayPal account.

Q: Some preview images on the image pack detail page appear underexposed and soft. Why is that?
A: Two reasons. One, softness and size are to deter illegal downloading and usage of preview images. Two, all of our images have been shot using professional grade equipment and in some cases were shot in a way to create more of a workload for you when working on your retouching skills. But no need to worry… there’s plenty of dynamic rage in these DNG’s to pull those exposures into the range you want them in. Most of our images have a dynamic range of 14-16 stops.

Q: Can I purchase more than one pack at a time?
A: Yes. We offer bundle packs at a discounted rate. Bundle packs are priced so that depending on the Bundle Pack you purchase, you’ll receive 1-3 Practice Image packs for free.

Q: Why haven't I received my Download Link for the Image Pack(s) I purchased?
A: We’re based out of Atlanta, GA in the United States and because we manually send out all image pack download links, emails are only sent from 9AM – 12AM Eastern Standard Time. As we grow, we hope to have representatives in other time zones to better accommodate our wonderful customers around the world.
